About Us

Sunday - 10 AM Sunday School - 11 AM Worship Service - 6 pm Wednesday bible Study

Belfast Baptist Church

Belfast Baptist Church is a small, but dynamic, group of believers which meets in the church building at 1503 Fishing Ford Road in Belfast, TN. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ by fulfilling the mandates that are written in Matthew 28: 18 - 20. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend by attending our 11 a.m. worship service this Sunday.. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. We are very warm and loving church - and you will know it by the way that you are greeted and welcomed by our members. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll hear practical preaching and teaching from God's Word.

You are also invited to join us in our 10 a.m. Sunday School classes. We have classes for young people and adults. In these classes, the Word of God is taught in a deeper way and discussion and questions are encouraged by the teachers.

God made a promise in the Bible that if you seek Him, He will find you. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue God together!

Belfast Baptist Church is guided by a leadership team who provide overall direction and watch over the spiritual needs of the church. Our pastor - Bro. Daniel Johnson - provides sound, practical, Biblical teaching at each worship service. Bro. Kent Sweeton and Bro. J.W. Nickens serve as the church deacons. Mrs. Janice Bolles is the church pianist. The church is blessed to have several members who often uplift and glorify Jesus by sharing their musical talents with our congregation.
